Somes Pond Center

In 2024, Somes Pond center continued the development of educational activities. Gardens were expanded to fulfill center objectives of creating a naturalistic landscape, derived from existing flora, boulders and trees. Community members continued to use and enjoy the Somes Pond landing for boating and swimming purposes. During this year we spent a large amount of our time envisioning the next phase of the Somes Pond center. This will take effect when our president, judy goldstein, passes away and leaves a substantial endowment to the center.
