Homeaid San Diego

A Service Provider requests HomeAids assistance to construct or renovate housing for their homeless clients. Homeaid then matches the Service Provider with a localbuilder or contractor, through an RFP process, who will supervise and manage the building of the project. The builder mobilizes its subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to complete the project, and asks that they each donate some or all of the labor and materials required for the project.Homeaid has completed 30 projects since inception, and has 2 projects in various stages of planning, entitlements, and construction.HomeAids support is primarily in-kind skilled labor and materials, and cash contributions from corporate and organization donors.
