Civitella Ranieri Foundation Inc

The purpose of the foundation is to provide a peaceful and supportive setting where an international community of visual artists, writers and composers may pursue their work independently and without judgement or interruption, exchange ideas, and forge deep connections to one another and the world around them -- across differences, disciplines, and cultures while benefiting from the atmosphere of the castle and umbria's rich cultural heritage. In 2024, Civitella provided six-week fully funded residencies to 47 artists from 24 countries, including 27 artists who identified as being from the United States.
