Operating the Texas Civil WAR Museum to display a collection of historical treasures from the period of the American Civil WAR, the reconstruction period and other artifacts from the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century in a setting that is both educational and respectful of the delicate and irreplacable character of each item; maintain the Museum facilities; care of the delicate artifacts; obtain additional artifacts for the Museum collection; make materials available for historical research as well as special educational programs.
