I: to support the formation, development and operation of the "latvians abroad-Museum and research centre" in the republic of latvia and its work in researching, cataloguing, preserving, and displaying artifacts, photographs, documents and other items that chronicle the Latvian Diaspora over the last 200 years. Ii: to support programs and activities that catalogue the existence and accomplishments of the Latvian Diaspora.iii: to promote and encourage global communication and cooperation among persons interested in Latvian people and culture.iv: to cooperate and work with other organizations engaged in similar activities with a view towards carrying out the objectives herein before described.
