Windham Gorham ROD & GUN Club

Annually releases approx 2000 pheasants in conjunction with the state of maine pheasant program when grants are provided by maine. This program allows pheasants to be available in the wild for hunters birdwatchers and others who enjoy the outdoors and allows the birds to continue to mature and multiply in areas around maine. Also works on educating younger hunters and promoting good hunting fishing & wildlife practices for all ages and by providing grants to young people for obtaining lifetime fishing hunting or combination licenses
