SHF's SMILE! Project helps to keep good dogs in good homes and out of shelters by increasing the handling skills of their people. Our Dragonfly Dog Park & Nature Center is a place where community members can learn about and enjoy nature, and where budding beekeepers can learn bee-handling skills in our teaching apiary. SHF is also a sanctuary for forest and freshwater turtles.
