The GIRLS Group

Mentoring program for GIRLS between the ages of 12-18. Our Group mentoring program is designed from our organization's objectives, which are Love, Empowerment and Better You. It is designed to address critical tween & teen issues; issues such as the value of education and achievement, bullying, self-confidence, problem solving, nutrition and hygiene, leadership skills, friendships, financial literacy, and personal safety. It provides a support system for the participants involved. The program helps the mentee develop socially, as social skills will benefit the GIRLS in all areas of their lives. The Group mentoring sessions will include craft activities, interactive workshops, Group exercises, speakers, tutoring, field trips, journaling, one-one mentor/mentee session, and community service projects.
