To perform public concerts that attract audiences to, and encourge appreciation of contemporary and less frequently performed traditional classical music-including having a composer-in-residence and commissioning new works, performing premieres, identifying and showcasing young musicians and recent compositions through young artist and call for scores, competitions, and community outreach through the NEP chamber players.
