To foster the comfort and welfare of those persons spending their summers on BIRCH Island Town of Harpswell State of Maine. To do any and all lawful acts incidental to or growing out of the above purpose including but not limited to acquiring property real and personal maintaining wharves and parking areas purchasing materials and labor and executing contracts and other legal instruments. This Corporation is not organized for profit and no property or profit of the Corporation shall inure to the benefit of any person partnership or corporation except in furtherance of the benevolent or nonprofit purposes of the Corporation.
