Jumpstart for Young Children Inc

Jumpstart's mission is to work toward the day every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed. Jumpstart works toward realizing this mission by bringing together caring adults, communities, families and preschools to give preschool Children the skills they need to succeed in school and life. Jumpstart trains and deploys teams of corps members - about four to six per team - to work with preschool Children in underserved communities for a full school year (on average 300 hours) of tutoring and mentoring in preschool classrooms.
