Masshire is a business-led, policy-setting Board that oversees Workforce development initiatives in the ten-community region stretching from dartmouth to wareham, ma. The Board oversees the new bedford career center operated jointly by equus Workforce solutions and the Masshire department of career services (mdcs) under the Workforce investment and opportunity act (wioa). Significant activities include adult, youth, and dislocated worker programs and industry specific training programs including manufacturing, marine, healthcare, early childhood education, and clean energy.
