C O R Ministries Inc

C.o.r. Ministries was incorporated as a ministry to provide a safe place of refuge for women who have recently left incarceration. The ministry will not only provide the essentials of living (food, clothing & shelter), but will offer resources in employment, housing, education (g.e.d., college or technical education) as well as personal and professional development. In addition, the ministry provides recovery support and other life skills to enable the participants to return to the community or family members. The program will also provide religious studies and activities to help them see themselves through god's eyes. Over the past several years, rev. Vennie talley has approached local churches, businesses, and interested individuals to explain the purpose of the ministry. She has obtained sponsorships and referrals through these sources. The ministry was incorporated on february 28th, 2003, and began its operations with the opening of its women's shelter in march of 2003.
