New Haven Folk, inc. is committed to being a comprehensive guide to the folk, roots and americana music community, and to environmental initiatives in connecticut and the surrounding region.the organization is dedicated to the furtherance of environmental initiatives that affect our local community and to the furtherance of music in all of its varied forms which may include, but is not limited to: folk, roots country, bluegrass, roots rock, blues, jazz, zydeco, world, Western swing, roots gospel, celtic, and more.we provide performance opportunities for emerging talents, support the development of new work, pay tribute to individuals who have made distinctive or significant contributions to our musical and environmental culture, recognize those who have contributed to the betterment of the community, provide educational programs and events, and give rise to social and civic issues in our local community through musical endeavors.
