Habitat for humanity New York City and westchester county builds and preserves permanently affordable homeownership opportunities by developing new homes, rehabilitating and financing existing housing, and advocating for practical housing policies that strengthen communities. We serve primarily low-to-moderate-income new yorkers earning roughly 50 to 90 percent of area median income. Since our inception, Habitat nyc and westchester has served more than 5,300 families through our homeownership and housing preservation programs.
