Brookhaven health care services corporation (d/b/a long island Community hospital health care services foundation) (the "foundation"), was established to seek philanthropic support and to grant funds to long island Community hospital ("lich") and other not-for-profit organizations under the direction of the foundation's board of directors. Effective march 1, 2022, pursuant to the terms of an affiliation agreement (the "affiliation agreement"), nyu langone health system ("nyulhs") formally acquired and became the sole corporate member of each of lich and the foundation.
