Suffolk County SPORTS Hall of Fame

The purposes of the organization shall be to honor outstanding people, living or deceased, who have gained prominence and have made substantial contributions on behalf of themselves and Suffolk County in the fields of professional and amateur SPORTS; to foster and promote public awareness, appreciation and understanding of the hall of fame; to collect, care for and exhibit SPORTS memorabilia, as defined by the board of trustees, both physical and digitally, with the goal of displaying it both physically and digitally; and to develop and conduct educational programs related to the hall of fame.
