YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester Inc

At the ywca, we are dedicated to creating a world free of racism, empowering women, and standing up for social justice. Our mission is to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. We have a long history of providing community services that support these goals.each week, over 3,000 members come to our activity center on north street to participate in our early childhood and youth programs. These programs promote health and wellness and empower young people to reach their full potential. We also offer critical services for those with developmental disabilities, breast cancer education, and permanent supportive housing for women. At our women's residence, we serve 193 women and are the largest provider of supportive housing and wraparound services for women in nys. Since 1930, the ywca has provided safe, affordable, comfortable housing for low-income women, working professionals, and women in transition who want independent living.
