Puppetry at the carriage house (patch) is a residency program setup through the JIM Henson foundation with support from the jane Henson foundation. Puppet theater artists are given access to the Henson carriage house space for 5-6 days to rehearse their new work and then perform a work-in-progress at the end of the week in front on an invited audience with a feedback session following the performance. Artists are also given a $1,000 stipend to help offset costs incurred during the residency. The patch residency was awarded to two artists in 2024: foreshadow and alva rogers.
