The exempt purpose of the organization is to: 1. Establish an agenda of issues critical to a better understanding of real estate markets, investment characteristics and performance. 2. Raise funding to support objective research on these key issues. 3. Solicit, evaluate and fund specific proposals for research from academics, industry and the broader investment community. 4. Communicate the results as broadly as possible.
