The American Friends of the Whitechapel Gallery Foundation Inc

This entity's primary purpose is to obtain funds by gift, bequest or devise and to invest such funds and to apply income and principal thereof as the board of directors determine, within or without the u.s.a. Exclusively for charitable, scientific, educational or literary purposes, through contributions to any charitable organization or directly for such activities in furtherance of it's charitable purpose. The certificate of incorporation specifically includes the support of the activities of the Whitechapel art Gallery, an english nonprofit organizaton.
