Frelinghuysen Morris Foundation

The museum was open during the regular season for guided and self-guided tours. Installed exhibit titled "get to know george and suzy", featuring artwork from george l.k. Morris and suzy Frelinghuysen to demonstrate their paths to artistic expression. Cubist master paintings were selected and displayed, showing its influence on their artwork. Refined the audio tour which includes george l.k. Morris' actual voice from the newly released smithsonian oral interview of 1968. This year was the first year of "suzy's palette", a pilot program funded by a grant from the national trust for historic preservation, dorothy c. Radgowski's learning through women's achievement in the arts. Participants included grades K-5 and their parents/guardians. Awarded a grant by the dorothea l. Leonhardt foundation for "exercise your creativity" drawing exercises in the studio. Local artists led painting demonstrations during the summer.
