National Employment Lawyers Association-New York Inc

The National Employment Lawyers association/New York, inc. ("nela/ny") was formed in 1992 to provide assistance and support to Lawyers in protecting the rights of employees against the greater resources of their employers and the defense bar. Nela/ny has a membership of more than 300 Lawyers, most of whom reside in New York state. Nela/ny is an affiliate of the National Employment Lawyers association. The National Employment Lawyers association ("nela") is the country's largest organization of Lawyers who exclusively or primarily represent employees in cases involving Employment discrimination, illegal workplace harassment, wrongful termination, denial of employee benefits, and other Employment-related matters. Founded in 1985, nela and its state and local affiliates have thousands of members nationwide. Thriving circuit, state, and local affiliates across the country enable nela to accomplish more for workers' rights than it could alone.
