Milarepa Fund

The Milarepa foundation's primary purpose is to promote public awareness of tibet, nonviolence, and humanitarian issues. Program service accomplishments include: education: the Milarepa fund's education program brings attention to tibet, nonviolence and youth activism. Education projects include the tibetan freedom concert, speaking tours, a toll-free information line, a website, a benefit album called tibetan freedom concert, and the feature film free tibet. Foundation: the Milarepa fund has a grant program to provide continued support to some of the many groups around the world that live and work compassionately. Milarepa specifically supports groups that promote compassion, nonviolence, and youth activism. Direct action/responsible business: the Milarepa fund fully embraces all types of nonviolent action, and works at all levels to get the message of nonviolence out to those who need to hear it most. In the past, the Milarepa fund has led a successful boycott of a major hotel chain
