Fordham Bedford Community Services inc. (FBCSI), was formed for the purpose of promoting the public good by assisting in and furthering the establishment and operation of one or more day care centers. In addition, FBCSI assists children and their families with educational Services outside of a school setting, provides recreational opportunities, refferral Services to health, educational, recreational, employment, child care and counseling programs and workshops for counseling and training in housing rights and responsibilities, household economics and Community invovlement. FBCSI, an non-profit organization founded by the Fordham Bedford housing corportation, is committed to serving the children and families of the northwest Bronx and its surrounding areas. FBCSI seeks new and innovative ways to strengthen families by providing a variety of programs and Services. In partnership with the Community and other local not-for-profit organizations, FBCSI is addressingn the ever-changing needs of a Community that has long been neglected.
