To promote the highest standards of sportsmanship, particularly in hunting and fishing, general education of all in the conservation of wildlife and natural resources, especially as related to Putnam County and the state of New York, and to unite sportsmen in a formal society for their mutual help and benefit,and to seek the introduction, promulgation and support of sound legislation pertaining to the interest of the organization.
