Provides a forum for local Building inspectors,fire inspectors and code enforcement officers to discuss existing and proposed Building code issues, laws and regulations. The Chapter meets at least monthly at various locations to discuss issues relative to their official capacity. The organization also sponsors educational training classes and sessions to educate its membership as well as others as to the latest Building codes, Building trends, processes, materials, laws and code violations. The local Chapter is also a member in the state wide association and representatives from the local Chapter attend statewide events and training sessions to bring back information, ideas and enforcement issues to the local Chapter for discussion and educational purposes. The organization also interfaces with state Officials in code development and also in the code acceptance process.
