Rescuing abandoned, abused and otherwise neglected canines and felines, providing temporary shelter, food, veterinary care and loving homes for these animals. To promote the public good through programs which provide seminars to educate youngsters and their parents about responsible pet ownership. To plan and implement programs to educate youngsters on proper pet care and the responsibility of owning a pet. To conduct activities to halt the physical abuse and neglect of pets through handout literature, free lectures in schools and community centers. To encourage pet owner participation in local Rabies clinics. To disseminate information and provide technical assistance to neighbors on proper pet care in extreme temperatures, household substances which could be poisonous to pets and what steps must be taken to insure pet safety from these common substances.
