Hudson Valley Area Labor Federation

The organization's primary purpose is to promote the objectives and policies of the afl-cio, promote and assist the organizing activities of affiliated Labor unions of the afl-cio, provide cooperation and support to affiliated organizations in their common and individual endeavors, influence legislation concerning workers and organized Labor, encourage workers to vote and exercise their rights of citizenship, and to serve as a means of exchange of information among affiliates on matters of common interest.
