GIRLS on the run is a non-profit, community-based prevention program that encourages preteen GIRLS to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Our curricula address all aspects of GIRLS' development - their physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual well-being. Gotr of Northeast Florida creates life changing experiences for all GIRLS ages 8-11 by combining training for a 5k run with important life lessons that encourage healthy habits, self-esteem, positive thinking and an active lifestyle. The result is an awesome way of life for a new generation of GIRLS! GIRLS on the run of Northeast Florida, inc. is a non-profit, 501c3 organization whose mission is to "educate and prepare GIRLS for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living."
