The Childrens's Home Community, inc. (CHC) was formed in Florida on december 8, 2003 to act as the sole member and parent holding company of four subsidiary corporations. Three of these corporations are supporting organizations under irc section 509(a)(3) to children's home, inc., doing business as the children's home network (chn). They are: the children's home properties, inc.; the children's Home Community based care, inc.; and the children's home foundation, inc. these corporations were formed in Florida on january 1, 2004. In addition, CHC acts as the sole member and parent holding company for chn, a publicly supported corporation under irc section 509(a)(2). The overall goal of CHC is to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of family services by the CHC group. To simplify the group structure, the operating activities of CHC were consolidated with that of chn during the Fiscal Year ended june 30, 2008.
