Darke Rural Electric Trust Inc

The primary purpose of the Darke Rural Electric trust inc. is to operate exclusively for public charitable and educational purposes, including within those terms, promotion of health by distributing and disbursing income and/or principal collected therof to 1) other organizations exempt from federal income tax under section 501(a) of the internal revenue codes as organizations described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, which are located in, or which conduct significant activities in, the service area of Darke Rural Electric cooperative inc., and 2) to state, local governments, and governmental entities, including school boards, in support of activities and programs in the service area of the aforesaid cooperative.
