Friends of Turkana Inc

Friends of Turkana, Inc. is commited to a long-term and supportive relationship with underdeveloped communities in the world. Our focus is on the Turkana people in Northern Kenya. Desiring to make a positive difference in their lives, encouraging self-sufficiency through health, education, welfare and community infrastructure, we provide financial and other support to acquire tools, equipment, raw materials, and local expertise and to develop their own skills and processes; and we provide opportunities to develop mutual understanding and respect for the Turkana people by working together on practical community development projects in Turkana and sharing those experiences with our broader communities.
