Virginians for the Arts Foundation

Virginians for the arts engages Virginians in a United advocacy effort to protect and increase public support for the arts. Virginians for the arts: 1. Advocates for increased public funding for the Virginia commission for the arts and the national endowment for the arts. 2.pursues legislative actions that will improve conditions for the arts and artists, and discourages legislation that would adversely affect virginias arts industry. 3.communicates regularly and effectively with our membership of artists, arts organizations and citizens statewide about advocacy issues and opportunities. 4.works to increase the public value of, and appreciation for, the arts in Virginia.
