Waxman Foundation

The organization's primary exempt purposes are as follows:(a) to advance the knowlegdge and understanding of judaism in the u.s. And abroad, including through research; publication and informational training programs;(b) to memorialize the teachings and leadership ideas of rabbi mordecai Waxman (1917-2002), through the compiliation of an archive of his life and work from printed, recorded, photographic film or other sources, and to selectively publish the same, together with the sponsorship of research and programming to further his ideas;(c) to produce, develop, sponsor, encourage and promote curricula, programs, and materials for Jewish education and spiritual retreat, possibly inclduing the creation of a physical center for Jewish renewal which could be used as a venue for programs, colloquia, seminars, workshops, retreats and cultural events for the conservative Jewish movement;(d) to promote intra-and inter-religious understanding and tolerance, through publciations and programmin
