The mission of the foundation is funding exceptional programs that enhance the end of life journey for patients and their families throughout San Diego.typical payors of Hospice & palliative care pay for benefits that include a core group of medical, social and spiritual care services. However, those plans do not provide for the creative and thereputic interventions that the foundation provides and have a profound impact on the lives of patients and their loved ones.the foundation also funds care & services for individuals who are unable to pay for end-of-life Hospice care. As part of their mission, the foundation provides Community education and grants for clinical training & education for healthcare professionals.
