To increase awareness of the romanian artistic and cultural legacy.to promote the development of the cultural heritage of romanian artistic treasures, landmark sites, and artists through restoration and education in order to preserve those works and ensure accessibility.to make grants contributions or gifts or otherwise provide assistance absolutely or upon conditions as the board of directors may deem proper, in pursuit or furtherance of any or all of the foregoing purposes, in such manner (including without limitation the direct provision of grants or other assistance to indviduals) as is permissable of an organization that qualifies as an exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code.on december 2 2023, the president, ioana maria ertegun, died. Subsequently, jeffrey katz was appointed president and linda j. Wachner, previously secretary, was appointed treasurer.on june 20, 2024 the members of the board agreed to formally dissolve the corp.
