Ground up and Rising Inc

Ground up & Rising, inc. is a 501(c)3 critically acclaimed, award-winning professional theatre and film organization whose programming is intended to widen our empathetic sensibilities and promote understanding and justice amongst humankind. We do so through a three-pronged approach: 1) Ground up presents exhilarating narrative drama aimed at young adult millenials (ages 18-35) seeking riveting, evocative, and thought provoking entertainment. 2) we practice colorblind casting, allowing for shows that feature primarily minority talent, giving these under-exposed artists rare market opportunities. 3) Ground up is also fervently committed to serving underserved constituencies that are often excluded from the theatre experience, such as the low-income and deaf and hard of hearing communities.
