Central Kansas Water Bank Association

The association operates as a Water Bank for its members. This promotes Water conservation and allows Water users in the same subbasins to work together to preserve the Water resources of each subbasin.a Water Bank acts as a broker between buyers and sellers of annual Water rights. The association collects a fee and application from any user wishing to sell their annual Water rights. The association will then list the Water rights for sale on the bulletin board and make the Water available for lease. The association will review all applications for sale and subsequent lease of the available Water to ensure all rules and regulations of the Water banking program are followed.
