On july 11, 2024 the board of Forgotten Voices International met and made the difficult decision to close as of august 31, 2024 due to lack of sustainable funding to continue on the mission. This decision was then shared with local Forgotten Voices boards and staff in zambia, zimbabwe and malawi and publically shared in mid-august 2024. We are grateful for nearly 20 years of ministry as Forgotten Voices International and thankful that Forgotten Voices zambia and Forgotten Voices zimbabwe have restarted their work as independent organizations and will continue on with the mission in their countries.
