In 2024, the Cruz-Diez foundation ("CDF") dedicated its efforts to preserving and promoting the legacy of carlos Cruz-Diez, with a focus on the care, study, and stewardship of the artist's extensive body of work under the CDF's care. The CDF continued its long-term initiatives to safeguard the collection by conducting a comprehensive inventory, condition report and documentation review, ensuring the accurate preservation of artworks and archival materials. Throughout the year, the CDF engaged with museums, and cultural institutions around the world to advance public knowledge of the artist's life, contributions, and innovations in the field of color theory and kinetic art.
