To create a non profit organization in order to attract more corporate and individual contributions to assist in plans to expand and update the baseball facilities at south forsyth high school. Also, to supplement the limited funds allocated by the forsyth county school system in order to produce a strong and competitive aaaaaa high school baseball program. The costs associated with maintaining a competitive program vary from year to year, but typically inclde: players' equipment, coaches' supplements, field maintenance, off season league fees, summer camp fees, team meals, team transportation and various administrative costs. Further, by incorporating the SFHS Dugout Club, inc., has become a more formal organization governed by corporate by-laws and led by a board of directors and which will be able to support the baseball program at south forsyth high school for many years to come.
