The organization previously organized congressional delegations and group visits to turkey, combining high-level meetings and cultural programming. These trips are currently on hold but may resume when conditions permit.legal expenses include routine organizational matters, cases handled through the Turkish American legal defense fund (taldf), and legal actions related to alleged efforts to harm the organization and its director. In 2023, taldf advised a Turkish-American family after an attack on their Los Angeles restaurant and supported litigation for a Turkish businessman assaulted in beverly hills.taldf also continued work on a civil rico case involving alleged conspirators targeting the organization, resulting in losses including the closure of its istanbul office. Counsel continues to support investigation, litigation, and reputation protection efforts in the u.s. And turkey.
