The mission of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) is to promote and foster law and order, increase the efficiency of law enforcement, and improve the working conditions and standard of living for officers through legislative advocacy, community involvement, and providing support to members and their families. Key goals include advocating for a civil service merit system, encouraging fraternal and charitable activities, and building public confidence in the police profession.
