Commission on Collegiateinterpreter Education

To promote the professional competence of interpreters through 1) the developement of interpreter Education standards, 2) encouragement of excellence in program development, 3) accreditation of professional preparation programs, 4) a national dialogue on the preservation and advancement of standards in the field of interpretation and higher Education, and 5) the application of the knowledge, skills, and ethics of the profession to benefit society.
