The ymca of Eastern union county d/b/a the Gateway Family YMCA is a community-based organization rooted in Christian principles and committed to building healthy lives through programs that strengthen spirits, minds and bodies for all. The y's cause is to strengthen community for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The y's core values are caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. With a commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the y ensures that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive. In 2025, the Gateway Family YMCA provided $622,703 in financial assistance for membership, programs and services in support of the community.
