Friends of Howell Living Historical

The organization was established to support and assist the mercer county park commission in operating the farm as an educational facility that preserves and interprets farming life and processes during the era 1890-1910. The organization provides support for school programs, hands-on farming activities and events for the public, funding for research and restoration projects, and extensive volunteer services. It also provides expertise and resources in areas of master planning, collections care, public relations, and staff development. The Friends organization is governed by an elected board of trustees who meet regularly to discuss plans and activities that address the farm's needs.
