Volunteer Guardianship One-on-One

Volunteer Guardianship one on one, inc. assisted guardians in the care of their wards during 2023. The organization also held various educational programs for the guardians and general public. A formal Guardianship training curriculum is currently being developed, and new seminar topics related to geriatric health issues will be presented. Additionally, an emergency Guardianship training program is being developed to be used in hospital settings in the tri-state area. Currently, most of the wards are in hunterdon county, but the organization is planning to expand to other counties in nj because the need for guardians is so great. Several members of the board of directors trained as medical professionals and social workers, collaborate with the director of volunteers on handling difficult situations involving the guardians and wards, providing invaluable insight.
