To protect the citizens of the borough of shamokin dam and snyder county pa from the ravages and destruction of fire, to promote the welfare of its members in a social and educational manner, and provide fully in a financial way by insurance and retiring fund for members who are hurt, maimed or killed in the performance of their duties, and to possess and enjoy such rights and priviliges as are conferred upon organizations of this nature by the laws of the commonwealth of pa.
