The Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County

The young men's Christian association of Delaware County d/b/a the Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County ("the Community YMCA or "the organization") was organized on december 14, 1948 under the laws of Pennsylvania as a nonprofit organization. The Community YMCA's mission is to advance the cause of strengthening the Community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The ymca is a powerful association of men, women, and children committed to bringing about lasting personal and social change. With a focus on nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving the nation's health and well-being and providing opportunities to give back and support neighbors, the ymca enables youth, adults, families and communities to be healthy, confident, connected and secure. The Community YMCA operates in three pa branches: lansdowne, ridley and springfield.
